A. get a guiena pig they are less likly to bite like hamsters do. they will be a little stand offish when you first get them but so will any other small animal. If you do end up getting a hamster though stay away from the dwarf varieties they are super cute but I have never met a nice one.

A. I remember back in the 70's, some people in California had some of those rats. Some of them escaped (or they were let go because they were too big), and they would break into peoples houses at night and make off with their infant children in their pouches. It wasn't a pretty site.

I would imagine you would need prof of ownership along with leg band on the bird and the number's of written on paper. Contact the Mexican Authorities before doing anything else. As you know, getting in is one thing, getting your bird back out and into the USA is yet another things, so also check with the USA authorities before going also. You may be able to find out online. Meaning as long as the kitty litter box is clean you can buy those self feeders that you can put 5 days worth of food and water in and be fine. Dogs are not like that. They need someone to let out to go to the bathroom a min of 3 times a day. If you are home a lot then a dog is a great pet, but if you are not home much, then I would go with a cat.

A. They eat worms and crickets, that you can buy in usually increments of 10 at pet stores. Live feeding is a necessity! They are not going to be poisonous if you are buying them at a pet store, but they can bite and many have hairs that they can shoot out when they feel threatened. Just be sure not to over handle them and you should be fine!

A. They eat worms and crickets, that you can buy in usually increments of 10 at pet stores. Live feeding is a necessity! They are not going to be poisonous if you are buying them at a pet store, but they can bite and many have hairs that they can shoot out when they feel threatened. Just be sure not to over handle them and you should be fine!
