Argentina, officially the Argentine Republic (Spanish: República Argentina, pronounced [reˈpuβlika aɾxenˈtina]), is the second largest country in South America, constituted as a federation of 23 provinces and an autonomous city, Buenos Aires. It is the eighth-largest country in the world by land area and the largest among Spanish-speaking nations, though Mexico, Colombia and Spain are more populous. Argentina's continental area is between the Andes mountain range in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east. It borders Paraguay and Bolivia to the north, Brazil and Uruguay to the northeast, and Chile to the west and south. Argentina claims the British overseas territories of the Falkland Islands and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. It also claims a part of Antarctica, overlapping claims made by Chile and the United Kingdom, though all claims were suspended by the Antarctic Treaty of 1961. Argentina today is one of the G-20 major economies. From Wikipedia under the

Current tribles include: Toba Diaguita-Calchaqui Guarani Chorote (Iyo'wujwa Chorote and Iyojwa'ja Chorote) Chane Mapuche (probably the largest indigenous nation in Argentina)Tehuelche Answered by Andrealphus - Tue Sep 23 08:42:33 2008 How much does it cost for the food in Argentina? Hi, Food and entertainment is relatively cheap compared to many other places in the world, especially in compared to US and Europe. It obviously depends on what you would like to have organised and for whom. In the city of Buenos Aires (it is cheaper outside of Buenos Aires) you have to budget for at least USD50 per person if you would like a 4-star event with an acceptable quality wine including starters, main course and dessert but it can be as low as USD15 if you would like something more informal. I would need you to be a bit more specific about the entertainment you have in mind but if you are talking about getting a DJ for your party you would have to budget for around USD500. Of course cheaper options are available from about… [cont.] Answered by Hendrik J - Laurik International - Tue Mar 17 08:27:22 2009 What time everyday do schools regularly start in Argentina?
Q. I'm originally from Minnesota and moving to Argentina for 3 months soon. Since they eat dinner later there, 9-12ish, and I'm used to 7-8, I was wondering if the school times are also different. Thank you! Asked by SmiLeS. AlWayS. WoRk.* - Mon Jan 25 18:13:27 2010 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. School starts at 8:10 AM aprox. and ends at 4:30 PM (that is double shift). If you prefer just the morning shift, it ends at 12:15 AM and the Afternoon shift would be from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. This means at 5:00 or 6:00 PM you have a snack and at 9:00 or 10:00 pm you have dinner. I hope this helps :) Answered by unknown - Mon Jan 25 23:54:42 2010 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Argentina" Angolan defence attache in Brazil to cover Argentina
