Need a good name for a website that focuses on learning and discovery?
Q. What are some good names for a website that focuses on learning, discovery, exploring and uncovering the world? My friend is building a site with articles about nearly everything under the sun. It's not a "how-to" site; rather, the site is more like an online museum. My friend really likes the word "ology" and would like to include it in the name, but it's not necessary. Any suggestions would be useful. Thanks!

A. Since "logy" means the study of, I thought of "worldology" but someone is already using worldology.com and .net!! LOL In fact, your friend may want to check those sites out in case they are similar to what he's attempting. And since Discovery.com is used, maybe they could use Uncovering.com or something. How come not everyone focuses, before approaching a 4-way stop sign?
Q. So many people get confused at 4-way stop signs, and its usually because they were not paying attention as they approached the Stop, identifying who is there already, etc. Why do people not make it a habit of always focusing their minds, when approaching a 4-way stop? And is any of this caused by people being dumbed down by television?

A. People are distracted, having a million other things on their minds, so driving is usually auto pilot. For many a stop is a stop and it is handled like any other stop

Is there any High School in Melbourne, Australia that focuses on computers and technology?
Q. It is very obvious that this is my son's future and I would like a school that not only will encourage but foster his talents. He would like one day to be a gamer designer or programmer. Does anyone know of such a school? Or perhaps somewhere to go after school? Thanks in advance.

A. As suggested above, TAFE offers courses but the problem is that these are usually for more mature students. All Australian schools have computer education courses and according to Kevin 07, many more computers will be provided to schools (we will see eh?). As first cab of the rank, I would contact Vic Ed and ask them. You could also contact the principal of your local high school and ask what they offer and are there any other schools that offer more for students gifted in that area. An important, Careers in computer gaming field are few and far between. A wider education in computers won't go astray.
