What kind of technical questions interviewer likely ask for a technology job?
Q. I've got accepted by JP Morgan - in the technology division in one of the worlds leading financial investment bank. Been told that my 3rd Interview will be totally Technical based and they would ask me questions technically so was wondering what kind of technical questions they're likely to ask.

A. They would depend entirely on the type of job - a web scripter will have different needs to a network guy for example, and the level of the job. I sometimes get involved in interviewing (normally internally for promotions) as one of the senior network technical guys in the company. I would ask difeerent levels of questions based on the level someone was going to be working at - for a junior role I might ask a little about that distance vector and link state protocols are, and examples of each, I might ask a little on IP adressing. For a md range role I might as more about whether EIGRP is distance vector or link state. For a senior role I would expect more demonstration not only of knowing stuff but how to use that knowledge - I may give a… [cont.]

What are some of the Technical Questions I can ask the Candidate who is applying for a Secretarial Position ?
Q. If you could please advise some "how would you handle this situation" kind of question during interview, it would help. Otherwise, please advise some general technical question that i can ask the candidate (Secretary). Thanks.

A. "if a customer is calling ranting and raving and being rude what would you do?" "if someone is calling demanding to speak to me and its a matter of urgency but i am unavailable what would you do" "why do you think you would be good for this position" "if a job needs to be finished but its past the time for you to leave what would you do?" "what are your career plans long term" sorry just tryin to think of some i was asked but this is all i can remember

What is the technical difference between a bob and a chop?
Q. I was looking in a hairstyle mag and they had a photo of Lisa Rinna and said her hairstyle was called a "Flipped Chop". On the next page, they showed Katie Holmes' new hairstyle and said it was a "Flipped Bob". The photos look very similar to eachother - any technical pros out there who can give me the technical definition of a 'bob' and a 'chop'?
